Operates the NAF Academy of Emergency Medical Science, recruiting middle school students and offering seniors a required three-month medical specialty internship to prepare for careers in emergency medical services.

Operates 624 NAF academies nationwide, serving over 150,000 high school students annually through career-themed education programs aligned with local workforce needs.

Operates 87 academies in the Academy of Information Technology and 83 academies in the Academy of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM), delivering curriculum in computer networking, engineering, biotech, and related fields using partner programs such as Project Lead The Way and Paxton/Patterson.

Provides students access to over 95 career pathways aligned with local workforce needs, preparing them for a range of in-demand careers.

Offers a paid summer internship program for qualified high school students, including placements at the State Attorney’s Office and Hialeah Gardens Police Department, as part of career preparation in legal and public safety fields.

Annually recognizes students, educators, alumni, and advisory board members for outstanding contributions to their communities through formal recognition programs.

Provides structured planning programs and capacity-building support to school districts to help them establish and implement NAF academies.

Implements programs that support high school students, particularly those at risk of not graduating, to become college, career, and future ready, with over 700,000 students benefiting since 1980.

Requires internships as part of multiple degree programs, including Pastoral Studies, Christian Counseling, Organizational Leadership, Christian Ministries, Intercultural Ministries, and TESL, providing practical, field-based experience in ministry contexts.
