Provides an online platform for organizations to submit remittance payments, streamlining the payment submission process.

Advocates for legislative measures benefiting laborers, families, and working people; supports political candidates across parties who align with labor interests; conducts voter registration, get-out-the-vote, and letter-writing campaigns to engage members.

Collaborates with AFL-CIO to develop the Laborers’ Action Network for tracking advocacy campaigns and legislative information, strengthening coordinated political efforts.

Conducts OSHA training programs on Excavation Standards and Scaffold Construction, and offers training courses in building construction, heavy and highway construction, construction supervision, environmental remediation, demolition, rehabilitation, and restoration, including preregistered classes.

Accepts applications for its apprentice program through the Helmets to Hardhats initiative on the first Tuesday of every month, supporting veteran and transitioning service member pathways into construction careers.

Designs and implements public relations and advertising campaigns using radio, public television, billboards, and bus card displays to highlight the value of unionized construction in the regional economy.

Offers health coverage and welfare benefits to participants, including distribution of 1095-B tax forms to confirm health coverage upon request.

Hosts events to honor and recognize the service and contributions of Laborers’ Local #91 retirees.

Engages in various community benefit and economic development activities to support regional growth and workforce development.

Develops and operates the Market Recovery Program to promote successful bids by unionized contractors and increase work opportunities for Local #91 members.

Establishes and administers trust funds providing health and medical benefits, pension benefits, and annuity benefits to union members and their dependents, funded through employer contributions under collective bargaining agreements; includes coordination with third-party administrators such as John Hancock for record-keeping.

Shares stories, photos, videos, and events related to the labor community and collaborates with organizations to distribute informative resources to members and the broader labor network.

Relocated and maintains union headquarters in Maspeth, Queens, including a dedicated office building constructed in 1993 for the union and its affiliated benefit funds.

Oversees daily operations of IUOE Local 295, conducts monthly Executive Board and Membership Meetings, and holds Quarterly Benefit Funds Trustee Meetings to govern union and affiliated fund activities.

Provides online tools, investment reviews, and financial education resources to support union members in managing their retirement accounts and planning for long-term financial security.
