Arts-Based Youth Empowerment

Offers students the opportunity to schedule private lessons with faculty instructors during the week of the camp to support individualized musical development.

Runs a week-long jazz education program at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, serving middle school, high school, college, and adult students, with over 50 participants each week. The camp includes ensemble instruction, master classes, private lessons, and curriculum components in jazz history, improvisation, and jazz literacy.

Uses the Wit & Wisdom curriculum to engage students in rich texts for vocabulary and knowledge development across grades K–5.

Provides art programs where children engage in drawing, painting, collage, clay molding, and sculpting, with an emphasis on creative process, experimentation, and personal expression.

Runs a Theatre Club with rehearsals twice a week after school and once during recess, including auditions requiring solo performances and short dance routines, with seasonal eligibility by grade level.

Functions as a public elementary school serving students in New York City, delivering comprehensive instruction across core and arts subjects.

Organizes field trips to history and cultural institutions in New York City to extend social studies learning beyond the classroom.

Implements Investigations in Number, Data, and Space 3rd Edition for mathematics instruction, emphasizing collaborative and hands-on learning experiences.

Leads the Parent-Teacher Association with co-presidents and hosts recurring monthly in-person and virtual meetings to support student education and foster collaborative school culture.

Organizes international theater tours, such as a one-week program in London, featuring attendance at productions, artist meet-and-greets, cultural outings, and educational lectures, as part of a comprehensive theater-focused travel experience.
