Provides structured mixology workshops and year-round studio sessions that teach cocktail mixing techniques, spirit education, bottle handling, speed-pouring, and responsible alcohol service using real alcohol. Programs include a 5-week standard course or accelerated options, combining discussion and hands-on practice, culminating in a certificate of completion for high performers.

Provides a pathway for current Columbia and Barnard students to join the agency as independent contractors, offering practical bartending experience and professional development opportunities through event staffing and training roles.

Trains aspiring bartenders through mixology studio sessions led by current and former students, fostering peer-to-peer learning and leadership. Former participants are employed as mixology guides, delivering instruction informed by their lived experience in the program.

Offers professional bartending services staffed by TIPS-certified Columbia University students for a variety of events including birthdays, weddings, corporate functions, galas, reunions, and gallery openings across New York City. Services are available on both scheduled and same-day basis, with hourly rates starting at $35 and higher rates for last-minute or holiday events.

Engages in and funds scientific research related to malignant hyperthermia, including data collection through the North American Malignant Hyperthermia Registry to advance understanding of the condition’s genetics, pathogenesis, and treatment.

Produces and distributes a wide range of educational tools including booklets, pamphlets, educational packets, transfer guidelines, and preparedness products to help patients and medical facilities manage and prevent malignant hyperthermia crises.

Organizes and delivers live and recorded webinars covering a range of topics including MH crisis management, mock drills, genetic aspects, and the impact of conditions like COVID-19 on MH, serving both medical professionals and affected individuals.

Operates the Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome Information Service (NMSIS) to provide expert guidance and answer questions about neuroleptic malignant syndrome, a condition with clinical similarities to malignant hyperthermia.

Provides 24-hour clinical and research support through the MH Hotline and maintains the North American Malignant Hyperthermia Registry (NAMHR) for inquiries related to MH symptoms, genetics, testing, and research. This service supports both patients and healthcare professionals in diagnosing and managing MH events.

Produces and delivers educational content and training programs for medical providers, including simulation videos, mock drill kits, procedure manuals, and accredited webinars on malignant hyperthermia management, in-service training, and crisis preparedness.

Offers comprehensive educational resources, counseling, and support to individuals susceptible to malignant hyperthermia and their families through materials, webinars, newsletters, and direct access to support committees. Includes guidance on diagnosis, genetic testing, prevention, and life after diagnosis.

Provides American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) training and renewal courses, focusing on clear instruction and participant comfort, primarily for law enforcement and corrections personnel requiring FDLE certification validity.

Offers CPR certification training tailored to workplace teams and individuals preparing to interact with vulnerable populations, including specialized instruction for scenarios such as newborn care.

Provides financial support for equipment and technology needs across the New York State Police, including Tasers, drones, DWI enforcement tools, portable radios, electronic workstations, airboats, laser speed guns, and specialized tools for specific units or stations.

Runs a mentoring program connecting underprivileged and disadvantaged youth with New York State Troopers to foster positive community interactions and role modeling.

Hosts a tribute weekend for families of New York State Troopers killed in the line of duty, including those who died from 9/11-related illnesses, to honor their service and support grieving families.

Offers emergency financial assistance and support services to New York State Police employees and their families during major personal crises, including serious injury, illness, death, or line-of-duty fatalities, including those resulting from 9/11-related illnesses.

Implements training initiatives for New York State Troopers, including homicide investigation seminars and realistic firearms training using simulators to improve decision-making under stress.
