Cross-Sector Convening

Represents the healthcare interests of 80 large national and global companies, primarily based in or near New York City, and addresses key health care topics including HIV and AIDS, organ transplant, oncology, caregiving, patient navigation, and health equity.

Produces research-based publications including annual reports, executive summaries of immunization schedules, and comprehensive guides on cancer survivorship, informed by stakeholder interviews and case studies, to inform employer health strategies.

Convenes the Employer Cancer Consortium in collaboration with Color Health and the MSK Direct program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to support employer-led initiatives in cancer care and survivorship.

Designs and executes educational programs, webinars, and mental health initiatives on topics including diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease in women, and advanced primary care integration to improve employee health outcomes and benefits utilization.

Produces and distributes an employer resource guide and companion microsite containing fact sheets, podcasts, webinars, and other resources to support employees affected by cancer, made available at no cost to users.

Engages health systems, health insurance plans, and innovators as members to collaboratively address healthcare system issues and inequities, facilitates peer networking among members to share unbiased feedback on healthcare vendors, and operates a coalition of regional employer peers focused on improving employee health and well-being.

Organizes an annual conference, summer gathering, and recurring webinars for employers and benefits leaders to discuss healthcare strategy, workforce well-being, and current health topics; conducts working sessions on pharmacy benefit trends and PBM accountability; conducts seminars for new and prospective members.

Operates HealthPass, a subsidiary that provides small businesses with access to three customizable benefit platforms to support employee benefits decision-making.

Produces practical resources such as fact sheets, checklists, communication strategies, and guides on topics including cancer support, women's health, vaccination, and caregiving to help employers support employees; makes these resources available at no cost through microsites and distribution channels.

Produces the NEBGH Voices podcast and a podcast series providing perspectives on employer health benefits and industry challenges, featuring experts and public figures.

Finances the purchase of life-saving and advanced medical equipment and technologies to ensure high-quality patient care at Laniado Hospital, including imaging systems, dialysis machines, and emergency department infrastructure.

Funds the construction, expansion, renovation, and development of medical facilities at Laniado Hospital, including a fully protected emergency medical complex currently under development between 2026 and 2029. This includes raising significant financial resources, such as approximately 107 million ILS for the protected complex, with partial support from Israeli government ministries.

Supports the implementation of sterile work protocols and infection prevention systems across hospital departments through funding, contributing to reduced hospital-acquired infections and improved patient safety.

Conducts fundraising initiatives such as gala events featuring public figures (e.g., singer Hanan Ben Ari) and targeted campaigns (e.g., raising over half a million euros from the French public) to support hospital construction and facility improvements.

Provides financial support for the continuous operation of Laniado Hospital, enabling it to deliver medical care to over 500,000 individuals regardless of religion, race, or nationality, including outpatient consultations, inpatient hospitalizations, emergency care, dialysis, and diagnostic procedures.

Implements trauma-informed community initiatives through structured programming and convenes the Trauma-Informed Communities committee every other month to promote awareness and systemic change in Livingston County.

Operates an integrated rural health network with participation from approximately forty multi-sector organizations, hosting quarterly general membership meetings (in person and via Zoom), annual membership meetings with Board elections each November, and monthly community meetings in Lima Town Hall to advance collective health goals in Livingston County.

Provides suicide prevention education and support through initiatives such as Lock and Talk Livingston, Safe Talk, and the Out of the Darkness Walk; offers presentations, outreach materials, and access to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Convenes the Suicide Prevention Task Force monthly and operates Step by Step, a monthly peer support group for those affected by suicide or sudden loss.
