Provides plants, trees, lighting, fountains, and general cleanup in public areas of Bronxville, NY.

Organizes the annual Saratoga Foliage Ride, a multi-day cycling event featuring supported routes and amenities, to support the organization’s programs.

Operates the Bikeatoga Workshop, a volunteer-run program that repairs used bicycles and returns them to community use. The workshop is open multiple days per week and provides bicycles to children on a donation basis year-round, with no one turned away for inability to pay.

Engages in advocacy to improve bicycling convenience, accessibility, and safety, including advocating for the inclusion of a bike lane on Henry Street during repaving and issuing press releases and letters to city officials to advance Complete Streets planning.

Provides access to detailed bikepacking routes, including route lengths, elevation profiles, and downloadable GPX files, and organizes overnight bikepacking trips beginning in Spring 2025.

Participates in community events such as Saratoga Outdoors Community Night and hosts the Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival, including virtual editions featuring local artists.

Organizes regular community rides including Thursday evening social rides starting in April 2025, monthly family-friendly Slow Rolls in Saratoga, and overnight bikepacking trips beginning in Spring 2025. Also hosts an annual Members Celebration event.

Generates revenue by listing and selling bicycles, frames, and parts on eBay to fund shop operations, tools, parts, and safety equipment.

Hosts biannual kids' bike giveaways, typically in April and December, to provide bicycles to children in the community.

Offers membership benefits including a "Bicycle Benefits" sticker for discounts at local businesses, free annual bike inspections for Enthusiast-level members, 15% discounts on used bike purchases and $30 discounts on the Saratoga Foliage Ride for Advocate-level members, Fix-it Nights with tools and mechanic advice, and event notifications via email.

Played a key role in establishing and adopting a Complete Streets policy in Saratoga Springs and a Safe Routes to School Program in the Saratoga Springs School District.

Founded the Saratoga Bike to Work Challenge, an event that expanded across the Capital District and is now co-sponsored by The Capital District Transportation Committee.

Conducts research and advocacy on local water resources, land use, and economic impacts of growth; attends public meetings; shapes policy positions; and advocates for sustainable development, trail expansion, and groundwater protection in Port Washington.

Organizes the annual Art Walk event on Upper Main Street featuring public art installations, live music, interactive art activities, artist meet-and-greets, student art galleries, merchant showcases, and special events like the Artist Trunk Show and Exotic Car Show. Also maintains a self-guided mural tour as part of the Port Mural Project.

Operates a cigarette butt collection initiative on Main Street by installing specialized receptacles in high-litter areas, collecting and logging waste, and sending butts to Terracycle for recycling.

Implements beautification projects including the development and maintenance of community gardens, public murals, tree canopy enhancement, seasonal planters on Main Street, memorial benches, and holiday displays. Also plans and establishes new parks such as Blumenfeld Park.

Organizes recurring community clean-up events such as Clean Green Main Street, Clean Green Manorhaven, and Pre-Turkey Trot cleanups, and installs DIY Clean-Up Stations at Sunset Park and Bay Walk Park to enable self-organized litter removal by residents.

Hosts and participates in community events such as the Residents Gala, Annual Meeting, Lets Walk PW, Harborfest, Port Promenade, Earth Day, Hearts in the Park, Pride in Port, and other RF-hosted or represented gatherings to strengthen community connection and organizational visibility.
