Offers an annual summer intensive program in classical ballet that helps dancers understand professional demands and achieve accelerated improvement. The program includes specialized training components such as Pas de Deux and is available through both in-person and video audition processes.

Provides at least 15 hours per week of classical ballet training through a Preparatory Level program for students ages 10–13, using a Vaganova-based curriculum that includes classical technique, pointe/variations, contemporary, character, and performance training. Classes are conducted at Battery Dance Center and Taylor Dance West in Manhattan.

Offers a year-round, full-day classical ballet training program for students aged 14–21 to prepare them for professional dance careers, including rehearsal and performance of classical and contemporary repertoire, work with professional répétiteurs, and audition mentoring with video and resume preparation. The program includes dormitory-style housing for all enrolled full-day students.

Recognizes and promotes achievements of students, teachers, ensembles, and choreographers who have received awards from major international ballet competitions such as the Moscow IBC, USA (Jackson) IBC, Youth America Grand Prix, World Ballet Competition, and Tanzolymp-Berlin.

Supports students' academic development by facilitating enrollment in qualified online high schools that meet New York City and State requirements for high school diploma completion, ensuring full-time ballet students can maintain academic progress.

Invests in digital accessibility by implementing the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget, regularly scanning the website using UserWay’s Accessibility Scanner, and making ongoing improvements to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) standards.

Offers a structured series of nine skating exams from Pewter to Black Diamond levels, including specific technical elements such as edges, circle eights, and three-turns. Exams are administered remotely via Zoom, in person in Lake Placid, NY, or at WFS events, with performance graded at three levels: Encouraging, Competitive, and World Class.

Curates and displays Dorothy Hamill's antique blade collection at its headquarters or during major events.

Receives annual contributions from TD Bank through its Affinity Program based on participating members' accounts, which supports organizational programming.

Provides year-round live online interactive classes in figure and fancy skating, offered three times per week and accessible globally, as well as in-person instruction opportunities during events. Classes include technique training, creative figure design, and skating history, with remote delivery via Zoom and other platforms.

Provides financial assistance through need-based scholarships to increase access to skating programs, events, and educational opportunities for participants.

Runs a fully accredited online K-12 school offering NCAA-approved courses that integrate skating and arts education into the curriculum.

Produces and hosts the annual World Figure & Fancy Skating Championships on black ice, including a 5-day event schedule with Ladies and Men’s division finals for Creative Artworks and Fancy Skating, and operates as the sole world governing body for the sport. The event has been held for 12 consecutive years as of 2026, with origins tracing back to the inaugural championship in 2015.

Creates and sells digital and physical educational resources, including three Apple iBooks, a 76-segment DVD, and other videos titled "Figure Eights: the Life Force of Figure Skating," focused on the art and history of figure skating.

Grants members access to the World Figure & Fancy Skating Championships, workshops, international competitions, skating exams, and educational programming. Also provides professional coaches with approximately 40 hours of zero-commission ice time during the Championships & Festival to teach students.
