Equitable Access Through Financial and Structural Inclusion

Hosts dance-themed birthday parties with options for themed decorations, crafts, food, and dance classes, and organizes community events such as Silver Fest, which includes performances and dance parties.

Offers financial aid, payment plans, and sliding-scale support to ensure access to dance programs regardless of ability to pay.

Provides comprehensive dance education through two distinct programs: Seiskaya Ballet Academy for career-oriented dancers and Seiskaya OPEN for students pursuing classical dance for personal fulfillment, delivered in professional facilities equipped with modern flooring, climate control, and multimedia resources.

Produces and stages professional dance performances, including an annual production of The Nutcracker and a long-running annual benefit performance—such as the 35th edition held at the Staller Center—to provide performance opportunities for young artists and cultural enrichment for the community.

Awards grants and scholarships to enable young dancers in Suffolk County, NY, to access ballet programs they could not otherwise afford, including funding for nationally recognized summer workshops. The organization has awarded $5 million in ballet scholarships over time, with a record-tying $8,000 distributed in a single competition.

Provides financial assistance to individuals aspiring to learn classical ballet, covering all or part of their tuition and fees for training in classical ballet, character dancing, and modern dance.

Operates a global network that connects dance students, teachers, schools, companies, dancers, and audiences to support professional development and artistic exchange.

Provides scholarship auditions, performance opportunities, and dance education programs for dancers aged 9–19 from diverse economic, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds.

Provides alumni with professional development opportunities, networking events, community support, and engagement in one-on-one mentorship with current Young Professionals to support ongoing artistic growth and goal setting.

Co-founded and co-leads MOVE|NYC|, a civic arts and social justice organization dedicated to transforming diversity, representation, and inclusion in the professional dance field.

Offers dance-intensive programs for youth aged 13–18 in New York City and the Tri-State area, including the Open Access Intensive and a February 2026 intensive modeled on the Young Professionals Program, focused on preparing dancers for professional careers through artistic and leadership training.
