Established the first out-of-hospital, midwifery-run childbearing center in a low-income U.S. community, which evolved into the Women’s Health Pavilion serving women across the Bronx.

Delivers primary care services to elementary, middle, and high school students through school-based health facilities in over 20 New York City Public Schools.

Has provided on-site HIV/AIDS services since the start of the epidemic and served as a national pilot site for an integrated model of HIV/AIDS care now replicated across the U.S.

Offers a nine-month internal leadership training program in strategic management, healthcare operations, community advocacy, and organizational ethics, along with coding and billing training for providers and staff.

Operates a monthly mobile food pantry at 85 West Burnside Avenue in collaboration with Word of Life Christian Fellowship to support community food access.

Provides transportation support, food pantries, school-based healthcare, and legal aid services to address social determinants of health and improve access to care for children and families in under-resourced communities.

Partners with the Association of American Medical Colleges and implements initiatives like Vax, Snacks, Rx to improve pediatric vaccination and COVID-19 testing in urban areas, increasing access and public confidence in immunizations.

Conducts policy advocacy through remote meetings with over 70 Congressional offices, virtual advocacy conferences, and engagement with policymakers to influence legislation on telehealth, Medicaid, and economic recovery as it affects children’s health.

Hosts Community Compass events to engage communities in identifying local health needs and priorities, informing the planning and deployment of mobile health programs.

Provides pediatric primary care, mental and behavioral health care, and dental care through 50 mobile medical clinics and other service sites, reaching over 100,000 children annually across 15 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, with a focus on Black and brown, uninsured, or underinsured populations.

Creates and distributes family-friendly health education resources, including guides on asthma management, pregnancy wellness, microwave-only healthy cooking, disaster preparedness, and age-appropriate materials promoting physical activity and emotional safety for children and caregivers.

Creates digital tools such as the CHF Family Asthma App and clinician-developed health education materials to support asthma management and improve health literacy among families and providers in under-resourced communities.
