Research-Integrated Education

methodology: research_integrated_education

By integrating research directly into teaching and learning, enhance student engagement and academic outcomes, because hands-on, inquiry-based experiences deepen understanding, foster intellectual ownership, and bridge theory with real-world application. This strategy unifies diverse institutional approaches where research is not a separate track but a core component of the educational experience—from undergraduate labs to graduate immersion. It distinguishes itself from traditional lecture-based models by treating discovery as pedagogy, and from service-only experiential learning by emphasizing knowledge creation over application alone. The shared belief across organizations is that embedding research into education cultivates deeper learning, retention, and innovation.
