Interfaith Contact Through Shared Purpose

By creating sustained, structured interactions between people of different faiths through shared activities such as dialogue, service, art, or economic cooperation, we build mutual understanding and reduce intergroup divisions, because meaningful contact in collaborative contexts disrupts stereotypes, fosters empathy, and transforms abstract "others" into known individuals. This strategy is grounded in intergroup contact theory, emphasizing not just dialogue but joint action and co-creation as mechanisms for changing attitudes and building solidarity. It distinguishes itself from one-off interfaith events or purely educational outreach by prioritizing depth, duration, and shared purpose—whether through artistic collaboration, spiritual practice, economic partnership, or social justice work—as the engine for transforming relationships across religious divides.
