Collaborates with advocacy coalitions, social movement leaders, religious peace fellowships, educational institutions, and community organizers at regional, national, and international levels to advance peace and nonviolence.

Grants fellowships to divinity students or emerging leaders focused on nonviolence or whose work creates social change and challenges power.

Organizes seminars, presentations, group discussions, and cultural activities to promote non-violent conflict resolution and peaceful dispute resolution.

Creates and disseminates curricula, study guides, and classroom activities based on historical nonviolent movements, including materials to support use of the 1957 comic book Martin Luther King and the Montgomery Story and the documentary #Occupy@10, with resources such as discussion questions and lesson plans for K–12 classrooms.

Founded in 1914 to support rights of conscience in resistance to war and military conscription, and sponsored the Journey of Reconciliation with the Congress of Racial Equality, an early integrated civil rights action.

Facilitates a recurring virtual forum featuring activists, faith leaders, and thought leaders to discuss peace and justice issues.

Organizes U.S. speaking tours and co-hosts public events featuring peace activists and conscientious objectors, such as an 8-city tour with Israeli war refuser Atalya Ben-Abba and an event titled "Consequences of Courage" with Ben-Abba and American conscientious objector Diana Oestreich.

Produces and distributes a semiannual interfaith peace magazine featuring original essays, editorials, book reviews, poetry, and tributes to grassroots activists and human rights collectives.

Creates research-based media and publications, including the 30-minute documentary #Occupy@10: An Oral History and the booklet Active Nonviolence Across the World, to document and analyze peace and justice movements.

Offers tools and resources to help local movements develop infrastructure, strategy, and decentralized leadership.

Funds the development and expansion of Fellowship of Reconciliation, Inc. by promoting fundraising activities for its charitable and religious programs.

Provides advocacy and organizational support to Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam, Israel's only intentional Arab-Jewish village dedicated to intercommunal peace.

Provides education on religious and cultural traditions, customs, and beliefs to promote peace and understanding among diverse groups. Fosters trust and acceptance across communities through training in non-violent conflict resolution methods.

Hosts blood drives globally, including 80 drives in 2026 resulting in 5,505 successful donations and Mega Blood Drive events in 2024 that saved over 2,000 lives; conducted numerous blood drives in 2023 to address shortages and support patients.

Implements programs including walkathons, benefit concerts, device donations to schools, senior home visits, and forums such as the Women’s History Month Forum in NYC; organized the Pledge for Peace: Youth Empowerment Forum at the UN General Assembly Hall on February 11, 2026.

Donates books to children's hospitals, provides students with backpacks and school supplies through the Packs on Backs and Tools for Schools program, and distributed tablets and Chromebooks in 2021 to support remote learning in New Jersey, Illinois, and California.

Implements environmental cleanups, establishes pollinator gardens (e.g., in East Hartford, CT), restores vacant lots (e.g., resulting in a 37% decrease in crime in Philadelphia), and installs water pumps to support community well-being and biodiversity.

Engages nearly 300,000 participants in volunteer activities, acts of kindness, and social welfare projects across more than 67 countries since 2001, supporting community initiatives through grassroots efforts.
