Alumni-Led Continuity Model

Creates and implements programs aimed at generating economic mobility for Liberian communities both in Liberia and among Liberian immigrants in the United States.

Provides tuition and health assistance to children and families in Liberia, supporting more than 10 children with educational costs and expanding access to healthcare for children with physical trauma.

Funds teacher salaries at a K-12 school on the outskirts of Monrovia, Liberia, as part of its support for education infrastructure.

Provides assistance to recent Liberian immigrants in the United States, including guidance and financial support to help them navigate social services, education systems, and cultural transition, primarily in New York City. Offers grants ranging from $250 to $1,000 per family.

Supports the renovation of a building in Liberia to serve as lodging for organizations and professionals providing pro bono services, facilitating sustained community support.

Trains students and supports alumni to become leaders in education, agriculture, and public service, with a goal of growing the alumni network to 750 leaders by 2030 who contribute to building a more just and prosperous Haiti.

Engages in purpose-driven research and analysis to support resilient communities and contribute to Haiti’s economic development.

Provides structured training in English, computer literacy, citizenship, and leadership, including a required curriculum in Asset-Based Community Development, alongside academic counseling and internship guidance to scholarship recipients.

Conducts student-led recruiting campaigns reaching over 100,000 high school students across Haiti and enrolls new cohorts annually, including 50 first-year students in Les Cayes and the re-enrollment of nearly 50 students in Port-au-Prince after dormitory closures.

Requires and supports students and alumni in leading community service projects focused on education, public health, infrastructure, and civic engagement, with a goal of 200 projects by 2030.

Administers a sustainable funding model in which alumni contributions finance scholarships for current students, having fully funded six scholarships since 2015.

Provides career development resources including CV writing, interview preparation, soft skills training, and connections to internships and employment opportunities with local organizations for current students and alumni.

Offers full-tuition scholarships, housing, books, stipends, technology access, and academic advising to financially disadvantaged, high-achieving students enrolled in accredited Haitian universities. The program currently supports 189 students and has produced 372 alumni.

Maintains consistent advisor support and provides emergency shelter to displaced family members of students and staff during periods of gang violence and political instability, including sheltering over 30 individuals and more displaced persons than enrolled students at peak times.

Provides financial support in the form of scholarships to legacy students and supports the ongoing operations of Maria Regina High School.

Established a chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society to recognize and promote excellence in mathematics.

Offers summer athletics clinics in cheerleading, lacrosse, and volleyball for students in grades 6 through 12, including scheduled events from July to August 2026.

Provides campus visit opportunities through the Tiger for a Day Shadowing program and Fall Open House events to engage prospective students.
