Produces and distributes a weekly newsletter with updates on PTA events, meetings, and school news to keep families informed and engaged.

Maintains and updates the PTA website and Instagram account by posting photos, flyers, announcements, and event updates to enhance communication and community engagement.

Manages fundraising partnerships including Dave & Buster's Power Card (50% return), Mabel’s Labels (20% return), and Box Tops for Education (potential $20,000/year) to generate sustainable revenue for school programs.

Convenes monthly general meetings where members receive school updates, participate in decision-making, and vote on official PTA matters to guide organizational direction and priorities.

Supports a competitive chess program with co-ed and all-girls teams, grouping students by skill, interest, and age for tailored coaching; provides every student with a chesskid.com account and requires completion of 10 learning activities to earn a physical chess set. The PS 33 chess team has earned multiple honors, including National and State Championships.

Plans and hosts end-of-year celebrations, graduation ceremonies, moving-up events, and class homecomings for 5th-grade students, led by parent committees to honor academic transitions.

Designs and produces an annual school yearbook by collecting photos and collaborating with teachers to document events and student life throughout the year.

Coordinates monthly Teachers and Staff Appreciation Breakfasts, with each grade organizing a breakfast during a designated month to honor school personnel.

Coordinates the design, promotion, and sale of PS 33 spiritwear merchandise to the school community as a source of fundraising and school pride.
