Organized and sponsored the George Koltanowski International Conference on Chess and Education in 2001 and the 3rd International Koltanowski Chess and Education Conference, edited the resulting publication, and co-authored influential chess education books, including Best Lessons of a Chess Coach.

Founded the US Chess Hall of Fame and Museum and the Sidney Samole Chess Museum, contributing to the preservation and promotion of chess history in the United States.

Provides financial and organizational support to charities run by the U.S. Chess Federation and other chess-related organizations, including providing seed capital for the establishment of The Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis.

Provides financial support through the Frank P.
