Offers Keeping Connected and Annual Membership programs to maintain family engagement, provide input on services, and support program improvement. Also provides refund of contributions under specific conditions and ensures transparency through annual audits and public filings (Form 990, CHAR 500).

Helps families plan for the future care of loved ones with disabilities by creating Planning Journals and Letters of Intent, developing comprehensive budgets, and recording vital personal and medical information. Services include free initial consultations and ongoing development of life plans tailored to individual needs.

Operates Day Habilitation programs that support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and traumatic brain injury to engage in community life through structured activities, skill-building, and socialization.

Provides personalized in-home services such as Community Habilitation, In-Home Respite, Individual Services and Supports, and behavior management for children and adults with developmental disabilities, aimed at promoting independence and family support.

Provides drug and alcohol prevention, education, and referral services through the PEIR and Cross System Care Collaboration programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injury.

Participates annually in community service activities on Martin Luther King Day, partners with NY Restoration Project to install Little Free Libraries, and collaborates with local organizations to exhibit artists’ work and strengthen community connections.

Operates two types of pooled special needs trusts in New York State that allow individuals with disabilities or their families to preserve assets from settlements, inheritance, or lump-sum payments while maintaining eligibility for government benefits; requires a $10,000 minimum contribution and manages disbursements for quality-of-life expenses through appointed trustees and Key Bank investments.

Provides year-round recreational activities, day and sleepaway camps for over 50 years, and vacation opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities to promote socialization, skill development, and family respite across New York City.

Offers a range of respite services including hourly in-home respite, overnight emergency respite in Manhattan and Queens, School Holiday Respite day camps for children aged 5–14, Weekend Hotel Respite in Nanuet for adults, one-week vacation trips, and a 5-bed Crisis Respite Transition Program to support families and ensure safe hospital discharge.
