Organizes "A Seat at the Table" twice annually to engage parents in conversations about community and belonging.

Hosts an annual all-school Homecoming and Family Fun Day featuring athletic games, picnics, and intergenerational activities. Holds annual events for alumni to reconnect with each other and former teachers, including a welcome lunch for new alumni classes.

Produces 28 main stage theatrical performances annually across the school, including annual productions at the Martin Theater. Hosts cultural celebrations such as Sukkot, Holi, Lunar New Year, Eid, and the Multicultural Festival to promote inclusion.

Advances the Dalton Plan through strategic initiatives such as the Unafraid Project and the growth of the Helen Parkhurst Institute. Integrates community building and eight core values into the curriculum across all divisions.

Accepts Kindergarten applications annually through Ravenna from August to November. Requires admissions testing (ISEE or SSAT) for all applicants and processes financial aid applications via Clarity.

Provides over 70 after-school enrichment programs for students in grades K–6, more than 50 middle school clubs, and over 75 high school clubs. Offers formal independent study opportunities including the Science Research Program, Senior Project, and Capstone projects for high school students.

Manages multiple campus facilities including a 32,000+ square foot Physical Education Center, a Performing Arts Center, modern STEAM and art studios, and renovated libraries. Operates a shuttle bus service between 87th Street and Randall’s Island Fields for community and athletic events.

Organizes global educational trips for students, including a DGI trip for eighth graders to study the Civil Rights Movement in the American South and nine additional global trips over the past two years.

Offers optional student and parent affinity groups to foster connection around shared identities and interests. Hosts House 91 assemblies for K-3 students featuring songs, videos, read-alouds, and performances that celebrate inclusion.

Supports student journalism and literary expression through The Daltonian, founded in 1933, and the literary magazine Blue Flag, established in 1935.

Hosts conferences and provides training for educators from other schools, including conducting workshops at Dalton Tokyo Gakuen and visiting Dalton Schools in Amsterdam to study implementation and plan collaborations.

Fields a girls chess team and supports over 140 students across K–12 in chess tournaments, including participation in the New York State Girls Chess Championship. Operates 51 interscholastic sports teams for students in grades 7–12.
