Women-Centered Peacebuilding

Produces research papers, policy briefs, and analytical reports on topics including UN peace operations reform, women's participation in peacekeeping, civilian protection, conflict prevention in Africa, and the Financing for Development agenda. Published 670 research papers and produced flagship publications such as the Multilateralism Index report.

Hosts and co-hosts public policy forums, hybrid events, and regional dialogues with UN agencies, member states, and partner organizations to strengthen institutional coherence, support peacebuilding, and promote sustainable development. Convened over 4,200 events, including annual workshops and multi-day regional gatherings.

Offers strategic guidance and facilitates knowledge exchange through workshops and dialogues aimed at strengthening inclusive multilateralism, national peacebuilding strategies, and operational effectiveness in peace operations. Programs include the Peacekeeping Observatory and annual regional dialogues in partnership with the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations.

Distributed "Bags of Love" to frontline healthcare workers and donated shoeboxes containing toys, books, and cards to children in need through Operation Christmas Child.

Donated 100 meals to essential healthcare workers at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Provided financial support to international humanitarian and education initiatives, including $33,000 to the Schools of Africa Project, $9,300 to the Jordan Arabic Literacy Project for refugee children, $8,355 to the Cambodia Foster Care Project, $2,573 for typhoon disaster relief in the Philippines, and $4,000 to support a medical mission trip to Haiti.

Distributed 100 art kits per week to local elementary schools in Northern Virginia.

Advances women's roles in global peacebuilding initiatives as part of the broader mission to promote a Culture of Peace.

Maintains formal association with the United Nations Department of Global Communications since 2009, submitting annual reports and sending accredited delegations to UN Headquarters. Raises awareness on issues such as the Timorese Resistance Archive and Museum and facilitates youth participation in UN Civil Society Conferences.

Launched the Midwife Capacity Building Project in 2018, bringing midwife candidates from Côte d'Ivoire to Monaco for advanced training in partnership with Fight Aids Monaco and the Monaco Red Cross.

Designed, constructed, and supported the operation of maternity clinics in Timor-Leste and Haiti, including the Prince Rainier III Maternity Clinic in Samé (inaugurated 2008), the Princess Grace Maternity Clinic in Oecusse (completed 2012), and a maternity clinic in Saint Louis de Sud, Haiti (inaugurated 2016). The Prince Rainier III Maternity Clinic delivers care for over 60 newborns per month and reached 1,000 deliveries within just over a year of operation.

Built and inaugurated youth centers in Timor-Leste—including the Becora Youth Center and Viqueque Youth Center—by 2010, which were later used as models for training hundreds of youth in vocational and leadership skills. These centers were funded by the United Nations Staff 1% for Development Fund and supported by local and international partners.

Implements reforestation and environmental infrastructure projects in Timor-Leste, including the Reforestation and Family Income Project in Ermera (covering over 66 hectares) and the construction of water sanitation systems. Also constructing the Sandalwood Park and Environmental Center in Lifau, Oecussi, with support from the Prince Albert II Foundation.

Operates international branches including the Post Conflict Development Association in Monaco under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, and established a branch in Norway in 2025 following over two decades of operational experience.

Hosts themed gatherings centered on food from post-conflict countries to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding. Also provides a structured framework based on _The Peace Cookbook_ for other organizations to replicate similar fundraising and awareness-raising events.

Awarded funding to The Green Hub Project to provide clean water and essential needs to over 20,000 people in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Supported science training and exploration through field research in Timor-Leste beginning in 2009, involving students from multiple international institutions to advance knowledge and capacity in post-conflict development contexts.

Establishes and administers the Prince Albert II of Monaco Leadership in Post Conflict Development Award, launched in 2019, to recognize diplomatic excellence and emerging leadership in peacebuilding and sustainable development among young global leaders.
