A national campaign plus fundraisers by our local chapters raised $33,000, which was donated to several WFWP's Schools of Africa Project. $3,300 was raised and donated to our WFWP International's 1% Love Share Project, Our fundraisers for the WFWP Jordan Arabic Literacy Project raised $9,300.00 and was donated 100% to support supplemental literacy classes for refugee children living in Jordan, WFWP N.J chapter, raised $8,355 for their Cambodia Foster Care Project, and was donated 100% to WFWP Cambodia in supported of undeserved families in Cambodia.$2,573 was raised by the Arizona Chapter for the Typhoon Disaster Relief in the Philippines. ? Supported the March 2020 Haiti Medical Mission Trip, a project by "Stand Up to Poverty, Inc.,." with a donation of $4,000 and sponsoring WFWP volunteers to provide much-needed medical care and encouragement.Local WFWP chapters served their communities in the time of COVID to show appreciation for first responders and showing compassion. WFWP NJ-Elizabeth Chapter and WFWP Girls raised $785 and donated "Bags of Love" to frontline healthcare workers. Later in November, WFWP Girls sent shoeboxes filled with toys, books, cards, and lots of love to children through the nonprofit organization called the Samaritan's Purse, who works with disaster reliefs as well as a special holiday program called Operation Christmas Child. WFWP NJ- Paterson Chapter donated 100 meals to essential healthcare workers at the Hackensack University Medical Center. WFWP Northern Virginia Chapter donated 100 art kits per week to local elementary schools.WFWP USA supported the launch of the Giving for Good campaign and auction initiated by WFWP International Senior Vice President Sun Jin Moon by offering technical skills preparatory research and promoting its first auction. The campaign's objective is spreading awareness of environmental issues while encouraging sustainable practices, such as buying and selling secondhand, as well as assisting people to create funds during Covid-19. ?All the proceeds from the Giving for Good auction were used for WFWP humanitarian activities and Covid-19 relief charity. WFWP USA gave a special $10,000 Turn the Tide grant to three women's organizations who seek to alleviate the suffering of the Black Community at the time of racial unrest and the impact of the COVID pandemic
