Co-founded New Sanctuary CT, a coalition of eleven faith communities that provide physical sanctuary and support to immigrants facing deportation, as part of broader advocacy and community protection efforts.

Hosts educational workshops and one-on-one consultations to inform immigrant communities about their legal rights and available immigration relief options. These sessions are conducted in Manhattan and other locations to increase access to critical legal information.

Assists clients with essential administrative tasks such as scheduling Social Security appointments and obtaining documentation required for Real ID and other identification purposes, facilitating access to broader services.

Services are delivered through church-based and neighborhood clinics in Brooklyn, Chinatown, and other locations across New York.

Provides legal representation before federal courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, USCIS, and consular offices, including in precedent-setting appellate cases and complex removal proceedings.

Provides capacity-building training to church leaders to equip them with knowledge and tools to educate their congregations and support undocumented immigrants in understanding immigration rights and legal pathways.

Hosts know-your-rights workshops, webinars, and legal clinics in partnership with community organizations to educate the public on family law topics such as child support, custody, visitation, and court procedures.

Operates Legal Information & Tech Hubs at New York City Family Courts to provide self-represented litigants with on-site legal information, resources, and technological support, including assistance with court forms and procedures.

Creates and provides free, user-friendly online tools such as the Family Law Navigator, which generates custom reports based on user input, and step-by-step programs to assist individuals in completing court forms and understanding legal procedures.

Provides access to legal information, referrals, and appointments with attorneys through a bilingual telephone, email, and live-chat helpline for individuals navigating family court proceedings. Served over 24,000 people in a single fiscal year, with services available in multiple languages.

Maintains and distributes over 60 legal resource guides and animated educational videos on New York State family law topics in nine languages, available online and in courthouses to help individuals understand their rights and procedures.

Offers one-on-one legal advice and case strategy to unrepresented litigants through staff and pro bono attorneys, including both initial and follow-up consultations. Conducted nearly 3,000 consultations in a fiscal year, with some delivered remotely via technology platforms.

Offers a secure email system for individuals to submit family law questions, with responses provided within three business days, ensuring accessible and confidential legal information.

Operates training and orientation programs to help new immigrants understand their rights, responsibilities, and migration options in the U.S. Includes support for financial and tax organization, job search, and career development skills to aid in successful adaptation to life in the United States.

Provides low-cost immigration legal assistance and advisory services to vulnerable populations, including newly arrived Hispanic immigrants and U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents petitioning for family members. Offers eligibility assessments, consultations, and support with filing immigration applications with USCIS and related agencies.

Maintains an office location in the Bronx, New York, serving as a hub for delivering services to Hispanic immigrants and their families.

Provides resources and support for the development of small and medium-sized businesses owned by immigrants in New York, including training and guidance in business development and career advancement.

Recruits and places certified immigrant workers in U.S. agricultural jobs through the H-2A visa program, supplying employers with qualified personnel who meet skill, experience, and background requirements. Workers are trained through workforce programs developed by academic institutions, nonprofits, and professional associations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
