Provides peer support for lawyers experiencing depression through recurring virtual meetings held every Tuesday and Friday at noon via Zoom.

Facilitates weekly in-person Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for members of the legal profession every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Louis Church in Buffalo, NY.

Hosts and co-hosts CLE events and educational updates on topics such as federal practice, labor and employment law, and federal habeas immigration litigation to support professional development among attorneys.

Offers intervention, monitoring, and counseling services for substance use disorders and mental health issues among legal professionals.

Publicly acknowledges law firms and partner organizations that contribute to the mission of attorney professional development through sponsor listings and recognition programs.

Advocates for improved working conditions for police officers in Nassau County at the local, state, and federal levels, including through its Political Action Committee.

Sponsors educational seminars and awards eleven $1,000 scholarships annually to children of members, along with raffle prizes of $500, $300, and $200.

Offers a confidential Member Assistance Program and Peer Support Group to provide personal guidance and emotional support to police officers and members.

Organizes and provides access to social and fraternal activities for police officers, including golf outings, family baseball trips, Police Olympics participation, Awards Nights, and organized pistol shoots, as well as life insurance and legal assistance.

Provides informational resources to members about the Family and Medical Leave Act to support awareness of workplace rights and benefits.

Provides 24/7 confidential assistance, information, and referrals to active and retired law enforcement officers, dispatchers, and their families through trained Law Enforcement and Family Peer supporters. Callers are connected with a peer within 15 minutes via a dispatcher-mediated process.

Presents to law enforcement departments and criminal justice students across the U.S. and Canada on the impact of critical incidents on officers and their families to raise awareness and promote systemic support.

Supports law enforcement agencies in developing and maintaining peer support programs and manages registration for the organization’s ICISF training initiatives to strengthen responder wellness infrastructure.

Delivers Critical Incident Stress Debriefings, Crisis Management Briefings, and Post Critical Incident Seminars to first responders and their families to support trauma recovery and stress management; served 66 individuals in such seminars according to reported data.

Provides Assisting Individuals in Crisis, Group Crisis Intervention, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing training through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) for first responders and agencies.
