Peer-Led Transformation

Promotes the adoption of "Prevention Wings" within military forces globally by advocating for voluntary training of 2–3% of personnel in Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs as a strategy to prevent enemies from arising and enhance national defense, including presentations to Rotary International, UN member nations, and defense institutions in Korea and South Africa.

Implements and evaluates pilot programs with elite military and police units, such as Brazil’s military police ahead of the Olympics, to assess performance improvement and terrorism prevention through group meditation practices.

Conducts and publishes research on the effects of large-scale group meditation (Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs) on reducing crime, terrorism, and political violence, with studies conducted in Washington, D.C., the Middle East, and during the Lebanon war, supported by over 25 years of research and more than 50 replications across 23 peer-reviewed journal publications.

Tracks and publishes outcomes from implementation of Preventive Wings programs, including a 20% reduction in crime in Mozambican cities, reduction of inflation from 70% to 2%, sustained economic growth averaging 10% annually from 1994–1996, elimination of foreign debt, and Mozambique becoming the world’s fastest-growing economy by 2000.

Implements programs within military and police forces—such as in Mozambique in 1992 with 30,000 personnel and in Ecuador with 15,000 members—practicing a time-coordinated daily four-hour program based on Invincible Defense Technology to prevent conflict and promote national stability.

Disseminates findings and policy proposals through articles published in outlets such as Modern Ghana, Africa Prime News, and South Front, focusing on unity, violence prevention, and preventive defense as transformative strategies for national and global security.

Provides long-term, customized training programs for educators, community organizations, and facilitators, including a 30-hour Conflict Resolution Training and multi-day workshops on restorative practices, anti-racism, bias awareness, LGBTQQ inclusion, and mediation.

Delivers workshops and professional development for school staff and students in New York City and surrounding counties, focusing on conflict resolution, social-emotional learning, peer mediation, restorative practices, and bullying prevention. Includes classroom-based activities and teacher coaching to build inclusive school climates.

Contributed research and expertise to the development of national standards for peer mediation programs, published by the Association for Conflict Resolution.

Runs the Hudson Valley Leadership Academy (HYLA), a program that equips middle school, high school, and first-year college students with leadership skills and connects them to social change efforts in their communities.

Organizes an Annual Clothing Drive that collects, sorts, and distributes over 100 articles of clothing to individuals and families in need, providing direct material support to underserved communities.

Provides an 18–20 hour arts-integrated training program for up to 18 youth and two school staff per cohort, certifying participants as mediators according to national standards set by the Association for Conflict Resolution. Hosts community gatherings such as block parties and multi-school peer mediator summits to celebrate achievements, strengthen skills, engage families, and honor founding members—such as the 10th-anniversary event in the Gates Place community in the Bronx that engaged over 100 neighbors and families.

Conducts workshops for parents and families to promote the use of Restorative Practices and mediation skills within家庭 (family) settings, extending conflict resolution strategies beyond schools into home environments.
