Develops a pipeline of senior decision makers of color with potential to lead in industries that shape public opinion, supported by engagement of high-level industry leaders as instructors and supporters of the program.

Has spotlighted hundreds of alumnae globally since 2015, supporting 231 alumnae worldwide and tracking achievements including 115 placements in top industry competitions, 8 placements and 3 wins in the Nicholl Fellowship, and 12 placements and 4 wins in the Page Awards.

Runs immersive, mentor-driven lab programs that select up to 12 participants per intensive to develop market-ready feature and pilot scripts through one-on-one mentorship, peer workshops, panel discussions, and group conversations. Includes in-person and virtual sessions, such as a four-day in-person intensive in Canada and a London-based program with follow-up virtual development sessions through December 2025.

Hosts virtual screenwriting masterclasses on topics such as structure and pitching, free workshops to prepare submissions, and a Digital Conversation Series featuring industry leaders. Online sessions are led by established screenwriters including Lulu Wang, Nia Vardalos, Sian Heder, and Adele Lim.

Operates The Writers Lab UK & Ireland and other international editions, selecting 13 participants for the 2022 UK & Ireland edition and supporting a global pipeline of women and nonbinary screenwriters over 40.

Hosted the inaugural Global Screen Creators Summit, featuring panels and pitch meetings that connect emerging and established screenwriters with industry professionals to foster collaboration and career advancement.

Produces a podcast series that hosts conversations with women screenwriters and producers to amplify voices and advance visibility in the film industry.

Offers sustained guidance after lab intensives to advance participants' projects and industry engagement, including career coaching and facilitation of over 500 industry meetings. Mentorship is provided exclusively by women-identifying filmmakers.

Discovers and develops well-crafted screenplays in all genres that explore universal themes and expand cultural narratives, having reviewed over 10,000 scripts since 2015 and mentored more than 212 feature film and television pilot projects.

Provides full scholarships and operates a two-year mentoring program for female undergraduate and graduate students in real estate studies, pairing WX Scholars with executive mentors from its membership. The program includes structured events such as career panels, workshops on professional development, and networking opportunities to support career advancement in commercial real estate.

Provides grants and volunteer support to external organizations including the Young Women’s Leadership School of East Harlem and Habitat for Humanity Women Build. Also participates in judging real estate case competitions and contributes to workforce development through targeted philanthropy.

Awards grants to support education and career development for women in commercial real estate, including full scholarships to students across 32 schools. In prior years, the organization has funded approximately $2.4 million in scholarships and supported internship living expenses through dedicated grant programs.

Produces a major annual fundraising gala each October attended by over 500 professionals, honoring a distinguished woman in New York commercial real estate. Proceeds support the WX Scholarship and Mentoring Programs and other philanthropic initiatives.

Organizes regular events including monthly breakfasts and evening panels featuring industry leaders, as well as annual gatherings such as Career Night, fall receptions, holiday events, and summer outings. These events focus on real estate topics, member engagement, and career development for both members and Scholars.

Maintains a selective membership network of approximately 250 executive women in commercial real estate in New York. Manages member recruitment, onboarding, and integration through dedicated events and communications, including an annual members-only fall reception and board planning meetings.

Collaborates with Non-Traditional Employment for Women (NEW) since 2015 to support training and placement in skilled trades, including co-hosting workshops and participating in outreach activities. Also engages with SEO, Girls Who Invest (GWI), and plans to sponsor teams in Project Destined, broadening access to real estate careers.

Conducts research and implements capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening East Asian American leadership within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. Published a report in 2025 detailing findings on this focus area.

Conducts free membership drives and offers one year of free membership to expand access for non-male journalists globally, supporting inclusive participation in the organization’s programs and community.
