Provides structured Scouting programs including Cub Scouts (grades K-5), Scouts BSA (ages 11–17), Venturing, Sea Scouting, and Exploring (ages 14–20) to serve approximately 7,000 youth and adults in Erie County and the western third of Niagara County.

Runs summer resident and day camp programs for Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA at Camp Scouthaven, and offers weekend camping opportunities through a reservation system; also operates Camp Dittmer and Camp Sam Wood in Western New York.

Offers leadership development programs including National Youth Leadership Training for youth, Wood Badge and other training for adult leaders, and hosts University of Scouting events to build capacity among Scouts and leaders.

Offers over 130 merit badges in subjects such as archery, art, welding, and wilderness survival, along with hands-on activities in woodcraft, archery, and other outdoor skills for youth participants.

Provides direct support to Scout Packs, Troops, Crews, Ships, Posts, and Groups, including remote processing of Eagle Scout applications and virtual Board of Review meetings during office closures.

Engages youth in designing and implementing service projects, including oversight and review of Eagle Scout project proposals with feedback provided within five business days to ensure they meet BSA criteria.

Hosts the annual Thunderbird Games, a large-scale event for Cub Scouts and adult participants that includes registration, activities, and commemorative patches; also operates a trading post offering merchandise and snacks during the event.

Operates Durland Scout Reservation and Camp Bullowa as bookable camping facilities for registered Scout units to support outdoor Scouting experiences.

Provides a values-based youth program grounded in the Scout Oath and Law, offering character-building experiences, leadership development, and outdoor adventures for youth in the Greater Hudson Valley.

Organizes annual fundraising activities including a popcorn sale for registered Scout units and a casino night event to support Scouting programs and provide financial assistance for youth participation in the Greater Hudson Valley.

Operates administrative offices in Buffalo, Oakfield, and Elmira, NY to support regional Scouting program delivery and volunteer coordination.
