Responds to hundreds of emergency calls annually, including structure fires, medical emergencies, traffic and recreational vehicle accidents, carbon monoxide exposures, and hazardous material incidents.
- Volunteer recruitment and trainingRecruits volunteers for firefighting, emergency medical services, ambulance driving, and administrative support roles. Provides 15 hours of initial training and 8 hours of annual OSHA training to active members; historically supported training for Medical Emergency Technician certification through external institutions.
