- Bilingual community outreach and patient navigationConducts bilingual community outreach to connect uninsured or under-insured women aged 40 and older with free or low-cost mammography and cancer screening services. Uses long-term breast cancer survivors as bilingual patient navigators to guide women through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Supported 290 individuals in partnership with the New York State Department of Health (Apr 2024–Mar 2025) and 110 individuals with the Administration for Children's Services (Apr 2023–Mar 2024).
- Educational outreach and health forumsConducts educational presentations and health forums on cancer awareness, prevention, and survivorship, reaching over 14,000 individuals and more than 9,000 high school students in the last five years. Delivered by survivor volunteers with over 20 years of experience. Also conducted 7 educational health activities in 2020 with participant assistance.
