The purpose of the organization shall be to:fulfill the Mission of St. Francis Hospital ("Hospital") by ensuring that all patients admitted to, or treated by any of the departments or services of the Hospital, receive quality care within the limits of the facilities available, irrespective of race, color, creed, sex, national origin or source of payment for their medical care;Provide continuous performance improvement control mechanisms concerning patient care and to ensure that the interests and safety of the patients of the Hospital are accorded the highest priority;Ensure quality performance of all the Medical Staff by recommending to the Governing Body, practitioners for appointment to the Medical Staff and appropriate delineation of clinical privileges to be exercised by the respective practitioners; Conduct an on-going assessment, review, and evaluation of each practitioner's performance in the Hospital;Provide appropriate educational opportunities as are compatible with the prof
