How they approach the work
Named approaches extracted from this org’s sources. Where others share an approach, follow it to see the full set of orgs running it.
- Brave Infrastructure Design® for BIPOC-Led Changemethodology: brave_infrastructure_designBy providing strategic, solution-oriented support through Brave Infrastructure Design®, a model led by Black women with deep sector expertise, we strengthen the sustainability and impact of women and BIPOC-led projects because leadership rooted in lived experience produces more resilient and culturally grounded social change.
- Culturally Responsive Capacity Buildingmethodology: culturally_relevant_supportBy centering traditions, relationships, and lived experiences of women and BIPOC communities in capacity-building and fiscal sponsorship, we increase organizational impact because culturally competent support models foster trust, autonomy, and long-term resilience in marginalized-led initiatives.
- Fiscal Sponsorship as Systems-Change Infrastructuremethodology: infrastructure_strengthening_for_sustainable_systems_changeBy offering fiscal sponsorship, legal support, and governance strengthening to grantmakers and changemaking organizations, we enable systems-change efforts to scale because robust organizational infrastructure allows mission-driven groups to focus on impact rather than compliance or administrative barriers.
- Narrative Shifting for Economic Advancementmethodology: narrative_shiftingBy empowering Black diasporan storytellers and creating narrative-shifting content, we change global perceptions of Africa and people of African descent, thereby enabling economic advancement because cultural narratives shape opportunity structures, investment, and self-determination.
- Pleasure Activism as Resistance and Healingmethodology: pleasure_activismBy prioritizing the pleasure and well-being of queer and trans people of color as a core practice, we advance community healing and resistance because pleasure is a radical act of reclamation and sustenance in the face of systemic oppression.
