- #2 $20KTHE 100 ANIMATE BOOT CAMP WAS A 6-WEEK INTRODUCTORY PROGRAM DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE AND INSPIRE STUDENTS TO CONSIDER A CAREER IN 21ST-CENTURY TECHNOLOGIES. THE PROGRAM BROUGHT TOGETHER PROFESSIONALS FROM VARIOUS RECTUMS IN THE INDUSTRY INCLUDING DEAN LYON, SPLINTER STUDIOS, BRAD BECKMAN, DISTINCTIVE VOICES, KEVIN SHARPLEY, KIJIK MULTIMEDIA, LAMAR HAWKINS, MYGOSH, JOANN YARROW, LIVE ANIMATION STUDIOS, AND LAN MACHARIA, ADA ANIMATION. STUDENTS LEARN TO DEVELOP AND HONE THEIR TALENT IN THE FIRST STAGES OF DEVELOPING ANIMATION SKILLS BY WORKING WITH PROFESSIONALS FROM ACROSS INDUSTRIES WHO FOCUS ON THE ENTERTAINMENT AND ANIMATION INDUSTRIES. THEIR LEAD MENTOR IS AN INDUSTRY LEGEND DEAN LYON, WHO WORKED ON OR WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN EXECUTING THE VISUAL EFFECTS (VFX) FOR THE LORD OF THE RINGS, AVATAR, INDEPENDENCE DAY, ARMAGEDDON, STAR WARS FILMS, AND MANY, MANY MORE.
