THE MISSION THE DAIRY COUNCIL HEALTH FOUNDATION IS TO IMPROVE THE LIFE OF CHILDREN, YOUTH AND COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY AND PENNSYLVANIA. WITH THE SUPPORT OF ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND SUPPORTERS, THE ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO PROACTIVELY ASSIST IN THE REDUCTION OF OBESITY AND OTHER CHRONIC DISEASES AND BEHAVIORS EFFECTING THE AREA COMMUNITIES AND GENERATIONS TO COME. THIS WILL BE DONE THROUGH PROGRAMS AND EVENTS THAT ARE GEARED TOWARDS INCREASING THE AWARENESS OF HEALTHY NUTRITION AND THE NEED TO INCREASE PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES.
