Youth Sports Pipeline Development

Operates a developmental small-sided games program for U4, U6, and U8 players to promote ball control and engagement through frequent touches and fun activities, with summer sessions held at Terry Taylor Elementary School.

Maintains and utilizes multiple outdoor fields (F, G, H, and Soccer/Ranger Stadium) at Spencerport High School and indoor facilities including the West Gym, Cosgrove Middle School gyms, and gyms at Bernabi and Canal View Elementary Schools for soccer activities.

Provides indoor practice sessions and club-wide skills training from November through July, including 90-minute Saturday team practices and an annual indoor tournament hosted at no cost for U08-U12 teams, typically held between January and March with futsal-format games across six age divisions.

Provides guidance for parents to support their children's development through encouragement and learning from experiences in soccer.

Provides online registration and payment systems for travel and house soccer programs and maintains and publishes a list of fields used for soccer activities.

Conducts annual pre-season staff meetings, requires background checks and annual SafeSport training for all staff, and provides a refund equivalent to one player's fee to each House team head coach as a volunteer incentive.

Organizes participation in two to three weekend tournaments between May and July and coordinates game schedules using the Sport SignUp app to synchronize with participants' personal calendars.

Conducts annual tryouts for travel soccer teams from U8 to U19 at Spencerport High School, and participates in the Rochester District Youth Soccer League with U8-U16 teams playing 12 games from late May through July.

Conducts structured preseason and regular-season rugby practices and schedules preseason matches, including participation in spring 2025 fixtures against West Point and Washington Irish, as well as ongoing weekly training sessions.

Raises funds for charitable causes and supports local community initiatives such as ALS events and volunteer work with Wildlife-in-Crisis, contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars over time.

Operates multiple competitive men's rugby teams, including a First XV that participates in elite leagues such as the American Rugby Premiership (ARP) and EGU D2 Championship, with regular season matches, playoff qualifications, and national competition appearances. The club has a history of competitive success, including division championships and repeated playoff qualifications.

Fields a women's rugby team that competes in the EGU D3 league and participates in the Can-Am women's rugby competition and 7s tournaments, with documented match results from the 2023 season.

Runs youth rugby programs for high school and college players and operates a USA Rugby Division III developmental team to support younger, developing, and Old Boys players, providing accessible playing opportunities.
