Service-Linked Scholarships

Awards scholarships to college-bound students in the East Ramapo School District who are volunteer firefighters or ambulance corps volunteers.

Provides intensive, one-on-one mentoring to scholarship and loan recipients and applicants, covering study habits, college applications, leadership, budgeting, personal finance, and navigating bureaucratic systems. Includes follow-up visits to assess well-being and academic progress.

Funds partner organizations’ scholarship and educational initiatives, including a grant of THB 64,238.86 awarded to Shan Youth Power to support its Scholarship Program and related activities.

Delivers basic health care and informal education services to vulnerable migrant and stateless communities in northern Thailand, fulfilling its public health mission.

Delivers legal training workshops and one-on-one legal consultations to stateless and nationality-less individuals and families on civil registration, Thai citizenship, and permanent residency. Includes co-organized workshops on healthcare and children's rights for migrant workers and their children in Chiang Mai Province.

Offers partial scholarships and interest-free student loans to cover tuition and living expenses for stateless, nationality-less, and migrant students from Myanmar facing economic barriers to higher education. As of June 2023, provided full financial support to 16 higher education and 3 high school students.

Operates the Community-Minded Youth project, which requires scholarship recipients to lead annual community development initiatives in remote areas of Northern Thailand, with funding and oversight provided by the organization.

Conducts 20-minute individual belt assessments for students as part of level advancement within the training curriculum, including provision of a belt upon successful completion.

Organizes and presents annual recitals such as "A Dream Is A Wish" at Madison Theater at Molloy University, featuring choreographed performances by students across multiple levels and dance styles. Includes ticket sales and in-person, online, or email-based purchasing options. Events have been held annually, including in 2023 and scheduled for 2026.

Hosts parent observation weeks twice per year, once in the fall and once in the spring, allowing parents to view scheduled class sessions.

Leads the FAITH Dance Project, a professional/student collaboration that holds annual performances and educational programs, with proceeds donated to charities such as the American Lung Association and Autism Speaks.

Collects a $50 per-family deposit and manages costume orders priced between $85 and $130 for the annual recital. Coordinates in-studio fittings where teachers verify proper fit before costumes are sent home.

Provides private one-on-one coaching, instruction, and choreography in ballet and all dance concentrations by appointment for students of various levels.

Choreographs and rehearses performance pieces for the annual recital, including "A Dream is a Wish" for junior tap dancers, "Tale as Old as Time" for Level 2/3 ballet students, "Whole New World" for Primary and Level 1 students, and acrobatic dance pieces for junior students.

Choreographs and produces original ballet productions such as A Midsummer’s Eve, Fantasia, The Firebird, and the upcoming Ballet’s Greatest Ghost Stories.

Offers classical ballet training using the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum, a 9-level program, to students from 18 months through adults, including beginners to pre-professionals, with classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, ethnic dance, yoga, and Pilates. Training occurs during scheduled class hours Monday through Sunday on Long Island.

Provides dance, singing, and acting instruction to children who cannot afford or access traditional dance studios through community outreach programs.

Distributes educational flashcards on body direction as part of classical ballet training curriculum.
