This strategy centers on leveraging deep bonds of shared service experience—whether through combat, duty, or profession—to build resilient communities of mutual support. Unlike broader social services that deliver aid top-down, this approach treats peer connection as the foundational mechanism for healing, advocacy, and civic reintegration. It distinguishes itself by prioritizing identity continuity and relational trust over transactional support, making it especially effective for populations who may distrust mainstream systems.
