Hosts a variety of workshops focused on healing, relational health, and self-care, including offerings such as "Reclaiming Pleasure," "The Body Remembers, the Parent Rewrites," "Circle of Sound," and Gentle Chair Yoga for Grounding, facilitated by trained professionals and offered in-person and virtually.

Conducts advocacy work aimed at improving systems and policies to enhance survivors' access to justice, legal protections, and healing resources.

Operates Urban Child Advocacy Centers that provide a safe, coordinated environment for children who have experienced sexual and physical abuse to disclose their experiences. These centers co-locate multidisciplinary teams—including law enforcement, prosecutors, child welfare, and medical providers—to expedite investigations and prosecutions while delivering immediate family-inclusive support and counseling.

Provides immediate and long-term support to approximately 250,000 survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, exploitation, and other forms of violence annually in New York City. Services include emergency shelter, hot meals, trauma-informed counseling, safety planning, housing transition support, employment assistance, and access to food, clothing, and hygiene supplies.

Operates domestic violence shelters that provide immediate safe housing for survivors and their children, along with supportive services such as counseling, legal aid, financial assistance, food, essential supplies, art therapy, and housing transition support to secure permanent housing.

Operates a 24/7 hotline and chat service that responds to over 100,000 calls annually, providing personalized support, safety planning, and connections to emergency shelter and other critical resources for survivors of violence.

Provides legal services to survivors of violence, including court accompaniment, civil and criminal justice system navigation, and specialized immigration legal assistance through the Immigration Law Project to help immigrant survivors secure protection and legal status regardless of age, gender, or immigration status.

Delivers comprehensive legal and social services to victims of human trafficking regardless of age, gender, immigration status, or language, including Metro Cards, grocery gift cards, work visa assistance, and access to housing, healthcare, and vocational training.

Provides comprehensive services to over 28,000 children and young people annually, including trauma-informed counseling, group therapy, educational support, and community programs tailored to youth impacted by abuse, violence, or homelessness.

Provides ongoing trauma-informed mental health counseling, grief counseling, support groups, and emotional safety services for survivors of abuse and their families, including group art therapy workshops in shelter settings.
