By providing early, hands-on exposure to healthcare careers and integrated support, we increase the likelihood that underserved youth pursue and persist in health professions, because experiential access builds identity, agency, and long-term commitment. This strategy centers on engaging students from underrepresented communities at critical developmental stages through immersive experiences, mentorship, and sustained academic support. It distinguishes itself by focusing not just on recruitment but on longitudinal engagement—shaping professional identity early and aligning education with real-world healthcare pathways. Unlike standalone training or scholarship models, it treats career entry as a process rooted in belonging, visibility, and continuous guidance.
