OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT, ADVANCE, AND PROVIDE SERVICE AND EDUCATION IN THE SOUTH BRONX COMMUNITY. THE SOUTH BRONX IS ONE OF THE POOREST CONGRESSIONAL COMMUNITIES IN THE UNITED STATES. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES: COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP TO STUDENTS FROM THE SOUTH BRONX COMMUNITY. WORKS WITH MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO HELP THEM IMPROVE THEIR ECONOMIC WEALTH BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS. HELPS WITH FOOD INSECURITY BY PROVIDING WEEKEND FOOD BAGS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN. THIS IS DISTRIBUTED ON FRIDAYS TO LAST THEM THROUGH THE WEEKEND WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE SCHOOL LUNCHES. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES GROCERIES TO NEEDY FAMILIES DURING THE HOLIDAYS.
