Operates multiple physical and digital centers in Brooklyn, NY, including a community building center, a community education and convening center, a community health and safety center, and a 24/7 digital resource center offering access to multilingual health and immigrant services resources.

Coordinates large-scale community events such as Sunset Park Wellness Month and Lunar New Year celebrations, partnering with local organizations to deliver mental health programming, cultural activities, health screenings, social services, fresh groceries, and giveaways to hundreds or thousands of community members.

Offers free safety trainings in physical self-defense, bystander intervention, verbal de-escalation, and first aid; distributes safety equipment such as whistles. Deploys trained volunteers for Safe Walks neighborhood safety patrols in Sunset Park and provides free Uber rides or $40 voucher codes to community members who feel unsafe.

Provides free English as a Second Language (ESOL) classes at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels from September to June, along with year-round conversation practice and summer digital literacy classes for beginner to intermediate users on computer and cellphone use.

Provides free mental health counseling in English, Spanish, and Chinese Mandarin to uninsured and underinsured individuals through in-person, online, and phone-based formats.

Provides counseling and assistance with enrollment in NYC Care, Medicaid, and Expanded Medicaid for uninsured or underinsured individuals. Offers help with Medicaid appeals, prescription drug discounts, and access to free corrective lenses for uninsured immigrants.

Provides counseling on immigration status and its implications for health access, assists with applications for IDNYC and government benefit programs such as welfare and social security, and supports individuals navigating housing, transportation, family planning, safety, and domestic violence issues.

Partners with local artists to install free murals on properties of local businesses and institutions in Sunset Park to enhance neighborhood safety and vibrancy.

Offers nationally recognized professional certifications in CPR/AED and emergency response that meet licensure and board certification guidelines.

Published multilingual resource directories and guides containing health and wellness information, health access options, social services, immigration and legal assistance, and pandemic-specific resources for Sunset Park and the greater New York City area.

Engages a team of volunteers with professional expertise in clinical medicine, public health, law, finance, social work, mental health, data science, and language interpretation to deliver services. Volunteers have logged an average of 1,200 service hours per year.
