How they approach the work
Named approaches extracted from this org’s sources. Where others share an approach, follow it to see the full set of orgs running it.
- Cross-Sector Collaboration for Amplified Impactmethodology: cross-sector partnership modelBy partnering across healthcare, library, and community sectors, we increase access to reading resources and strengthen literacy outcomes because integrated services leverage each sector’s reach and trust to create a more comprehensive support system for families.
- Healthcare-Integrated Literacy Promotionmethodology: health-care-integrationBy embedding literacy activities such as book distribution and reading modeling within pediatric well-child visits, we promote early reading routines at home because the trusted clinician-family relationship increases caregiver receptivity and normalizes reading as part of child development.
- Parent Training to Disrupt Intergenerational Illiteracymethodology: parent_training_for_literacyBy training parents in interactive reading techniques during clinical visits, we foster sustained at-home reading engagement because caregiver confidence and competence in reading aloud are critical drivers of child literacy development.
