- Art-Based Research as Foundational Inquirymethodology: art-based_researchBy using The 1619 Project and similar frameworks as a basis for programming and storytelling, the organization grounds its work in rigorous historical and social inquiry, because art rooted in research produces deeper engagement with systemic inequities and generative pathways for reimagining culture.
- Public Art as Narrative Reckoningmethodology: public-memory-interventionBy commissioning temporary public monuments and art interventions, the organization challenges dominant historical narratives and reshapes public memory, because reimagining commemorative landscapes fosters civic dialogue and creates space for more inclusive, representative histories.
