MORE THAN 156 STUDENTS WERE SELECTED FROM ACROSS THE NATION TO RECEIVE A FULL DAY OF ORIENTATION, BEFORE HAVING AN OPPORTUNITY TO INTERVIEW FOR JOBS AND/OR INTERNSHIPS WITH RECRUITERS FROM BROADCASTING, CABLE, ADVERTISING, PUBLISHING, DIGITAL AND ANCILLARY MEDIA COMPANIES.
- #2 $66KFACULTY SEMINARIRTS FACULTY SEMINARS PROVIDE A FORUM FOR UNIVERSITY EDUCATORS AND CAREER SERVICE PROFESSIONALS FROM ACROSS THE NATION TO MEET WITH TOP MEDIA PROFESSIONALS IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THE SWEEPING CHANGES TAKING PLACE IN OUR INDUSTRY, AS WELL AS WHERE THE GREATEST OPPORTUNITIES EXIST FOR THEIR STUDENTS. THIS ALLOWS EDUCATORS TO TEACH IN A MORE TIMELY AND RELEVANT WAY. FOR MORE THAN FIVE DECADES THESE SEMINARS HAVE PROVIDED A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD WHERE PROFESSORS FROM SCHOOLS THAT VARY IN SIZE, WEALTH, REPUTATION, AND APPROACH ALL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR FROM THOSE AT THE FOREFRONT OF OUR INDUSTRY. THE THEME OF THE 2024 PROGRAM WAS MEDIA INSIDERS: TODAY'S OPPORTUNITIES AND TOMORROW'S CHALLENGES.
