Facilitates community events including managing a used books table during summer concerts and organizing the annual Library Bash fundraiser to support library programs and operations.

Offers a variety of non-traditional materials for checkout including Yoto Mini audio players, Kindles, Wonderbooks, portable blood pressure monitors, birding backpacks, children's fishing poles and vests, snow shoes, trekking poles, and seed libraries, expanding access to health, outdoor, educational, and digital resources.

Oversees library governance and operations through standing committees including Finance, Building & Grounds, Fund Appeal, Publicity/Outreach, Nominating, By-Laws and Policies Review, and Book Selection Committees. Enforces borrowing policies such as charging for lost or damaged materials, restricting borrowing privileges for fines over $20, and waiving overdue fees while charging for materials 35 days late.

Designates a children’s room for use by parents with children or adults accessing specialized resources. Requires children aged 7 and under to be accompanied by a caregiver, allows unattended use for ages 8–12 if contact information is available, and has protocols to contact parents or involve police for unattended children near closing time, with all incidents documented and reported.
