THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A FACILITY AND SERVICES TO FULFILL THE FOLLOWING: AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THOSE WHO WORK IN THE HANDCRAFT TRADITION, ARE DISADVANTAGED, ELDERLY AND/OR HANDICAPPED OR LIVE ON A LIMITED INCOME TO SELL THEIR HANDCRAFT ITEMS; A CONTRIBUTION TO THE SUPPORT, MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF THE DISADVANTAGED, ELDERLY AND/OR HANDICAPPED CRAFTERS BY ENABLING THEM TO DISPLAY THEIR HANDCRAFTED WORK PRODUCTS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC; AND A MEANS TO ENRICH AND ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC'S UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE RICH AND HISTORIC AMERICAN HERITAGE OF HANDCRAFTED ARTICLES.
