How they approach the work

Named approaches extracted from this org’s sources. Where others share an approach, follow it to see the full set of orgs running it.

  • Equitable Access Through Financial Inclusion
    methodology: sliding_scale_accessibility
By using sliding-scale fees and financial assistance programs, the organization increases access to wellness and youth services across income levels, because reducing financial barriers enables participation among underserved populations and promotes inclusive community health.
  • Integrated Wellness Education for Lifelong Habits
    methodology: integrated-wellness-education
By weaving health and wellness education into early learning and recreation settings, the organization establishes healthy behaviors early in life, because embedding wellness within developmental routines creates sustained lifestyle change across the lifespan.
  • Therapeutic Physical Engagement with Integrated Support
    methodology: evidence-based_therapeutic_movement
By combining evidence-based physical activity (such as Tai Chi-derived movement, cardiovascular exercise, and strength training) with social engagement and peer support, the organization improves physical function and emotional well-being in older adults and people recovering from chronic conditions, because multimodal programming addresses both physiological and psychosocial determinants of health.
  • Values-Based Character Development
    methodology: character-development-through-play
By embedding core values—caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility—into activities like sports, camp, and youth programs, the organization fosters character growth and positive social behavior, because experiential learning rooted in shared values produces lasting personal development.
