- Maintaining and restoring historic buildings and structuresAcquires, relocates, and restores historic buildings such as the 1796 Painted Post Tavern, the Cooley Blacksmith Shop (restored in 2010), the Wixon Log Cabin (circa 1855), and a historic barn relocated from Canandaigua in 1980. Also completed the transformation of a former blacksmith shop into a Joiner’s Shop and constructed a handcrafted post and beam wood shed using historic methods.
