How they approach the work
Named approaches extracted from this org’s sources. Where others share an approach, follow it to see the full set of orgs running it.
- Cultural Preservation through Research and Recoverymethodology: cultural_preservationBy researching and recovering lost practices of Nanlaoshu, the organization sustains intangible cultural heritage, because scholarly and experiential engagement with masters and traditions enables revival and long-term preservation.
- Dual Cultivation of Body and Mindmethodology: dual cultivationBy integrating meditation and physical movement, practitioners restore natural balance and harmony, because simultaneous cultivation of internal stillness and dynamic form activates holistic pathways to health and well-being.
- East-West Integration of Embodied Practicemethodology: east-west-integration-of-body-practiceBy bridging traditional neigong taijiquan with Western anatomical and physiological science, the practice gains broader relevance and accessibility, because scientific framing supports cross-cultural understanding and contemporary application.
- Gradual Mastery through Sustained Practicemethodology: gradual-masteryBy engaging in patient, time-based practice of taijiquan, individuals achieve deep personal development and embodied wisdom, because mastery unfolds progressively through continuous physical and philosophical immersion.
- Lineage-Based Authentic Transmissionmethodology: lineage-based instructionBy preserving the teachings of Master Koo with fidelity to both form and philosophy, the organization sustains the integrity of Nanlaoshu, because authentic lineage transmission ensures cultural and technical continuity across generations.
