THE CORPORATION IS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING AND SUPPORTING SERVICES. PROGRAMS, AND EVENTS TO RESIDENTS, BUSINESSES, COMMUNITY-BASED CIVIL AND CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS, AND THE GENERAL COMMUNITY OF BROOKLYN, IN AREAS INCLUDING SOCIAL, HEALTH, AND GENERAL WELL-BEING AS WELL AS INFORMATION ON OFFERING GENERAL SERVICES TO BROOKLYN'S YOUTH AND SENIOR COMMUNITIES AND THE CIVICS, ARTS, AND CULTURAL COMMUNITIES. IN FURTHERANCE OF SUCH PURPOSE, THE CORPORATION WILL ENGAGE IN GENERAL FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST BROOKLYN RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS AND WILL PROMOTE A UNIFIED BROOKLYN CULTURE BY CELEBRATING THE DIVERSITY OF BROOKLYN. IT WILL MAKE SPECIAL EFFORTS TO BE INCLUSIVE AND ENGAGE ALL BOROUGH RESIDENTS, INCLUDING THOSE WHO TRADITIONALLY HAVE BEEN DISENFRANCHISED, WITH INFORMATION, PROGRAMS, AND EVENTS THAT EDUCATE AND ENHANCE ALL BROOKLYNITES' LIVES.
