THE PURPOSE OF THE CLUB IS TO CONSERVE, RESTORE AND MANAGE GAME, FISH AND OTHER WILDLIFE AND ITS HABITAT IN WEEDSPORT AND ITS ENVIRONS: TO SEEK TO PROCURE BETTER FISHING AND HUNTING FOR SPORTSMEN; TO COOPERATE IN OBTAINING PROPER RESPECT FOR AND AMONG THE MEMBERS OF SAID CLUB IN FRATERNITY AND COMPANIONSHIP; TO TAKE AN INTEREST IN THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY IN TEACHING SPORTSMANSHIP, SAFETY IN HUNTING AND USE OF FIREARMS AND CONSERVING OUR NATURAL RESOURCES; THE FUTHERANCE OF NATURE STUDY, AND GUIDING TEENAGERS AND THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE PURSUITS OF CONSERVATION AND THE SCOUTING PROGRAM; AND SO FAR AS POSSIBLE, TO SPREAD KNOWLEDGE OF USEFUL WILDLIFE AMOUNG THE RESIDENTS OF WEEDSPORT, THE TOWN OF BRUTUS AND VICINITY.
