- #2 $55KSNF undertook a critical study in 2024 to investigate the social determinants of health impacting children with type 1 diabetes in Africa. This research, currently ongoing in Uganda, Ghana and Kenya seeks to identify the social, economic,and environmental factors that contribute to suboptimal health outcomes in this populations. The findings will inform the development of targeted interventions and strategies for SNF to make sure that its programs improve health outcomes.
