Operates a 24/7 Admitting Office to assist with psychiatric admissions processed through emergency room assessment, provides patient checklists, manages valuables, and offers guidance on personal items and clothing for hospitalization.

Conducts community outreach through mental health symposia, virtual wellness events in English and Chinese, presentations on generational views of mental health, and participation in public mental health fairs such as NAMIWalks NYC.

Provides patients with access to information about how their medical data is used and disclosed, ensuring transparency and compliance with privacy standards.

Oversees physicians and leads strategic initiatives to develop and implement medical services focused on quality, safety, and patient experience at Gracie Square Hospital.

Operates the first Naloxone Opioid Overdose Prevention Program at an inpatient site in New York State, providing training to patients and caregivers, and distributes Narcan with education at community events.

Collaborates with Weill Cornell faculty and nurse practitioners to promote professional development and oversee educational activities at Gracie Square Hospital, supporting clinical training and academic integration.

Maintains a 3,000 square foot rooftop garden for yoga and therapeutic use, operates a museum-quality art gallery, and offers therapeutic art, music, and pet therapy programs in partnership with the Good Dog Foundation.

Regularly updates and publishes standard charge data for shoppable services, with updates to pricing transparency data as of March 31, 2026, limited to hospital fees and excluding separately billed professional services.

Conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment every three years and carries out nursing research on culturally sensitive care for LGBTQ+ patients. Completed one nursing research study in 2024 and had three others in progress.
