Recognizes outstanding accomplishments in aviation and astronautics through the annual Distinguished Achievement Award, and honors academic excellence through Student Scholarship Awards.

Supports student participation in luncheon events and other programs to promote engagement with aviation professionals and industry topics.

Facilitates access to flight training financing by directing students to Flight Training Finance and providing application guidance specific to Hewison Aviation.

Provides primary and advanced flight instruction leading to private pilot certification and instrument ratings, using aircraft such as the Piper Cherokee 180 and offering recurrent training with certified instructors. Training has resulted in 17 out of 18 students passing their checkrides on the first attempt.

Supports students in achieving key flight training milestones, including first solo flights, with documented accomplishments at various airports such as Griffiss Airport and South Albany Airport.

Provides discovery flights and introductory flights to prospective students, allowing them to experience basic flying skills and learn about flight training opportunities.

Operates multiple flight training locations including at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, NY, Harriman-and-West North Adams Airport, and a new location in Saratoga County, NY, with specific runway and communication details supporting flight operations.

Offers aircraft rentals including the Aeronica Champion O-200, Piper Cherokee 140 and 180, and Seneca 3 for multi-engine time building, as well as access to FAA-approved BATD simulators and Gleim BATD for enrolled students and annual users.

Offers flight training scholarships to high school students who are female, minority, economically disadvantaged, or otherwise deserving, enabling access to pilot certification programs.
